Year 4 Evacuee Day

On Evacuee Day our Year 4 pupils had a very special visitor Hannah from NI War Memorial who delivered a very interesting talk about the Second World War and life on the Home Front in Northern Ireland. Our pupils dressed up for the occasion, got to wear helmets and handle artifacts such as a baby gas mask and a replica incendiary device.
During the day our evacuees enjoyed hot seating, musical activities and playing typical games from the 1940s. Definitely a day to remember!
