Our Year 7 pupils and our Senior specialist provision classes headed up to Cookstown High School for an Ulster Orchestra Workshop on Tuesday 25 March 2025. They listened to different genres of music appealing to our children through movie themes and game tunes. Pupils had opportunity to learn about different instruments in the orchestra and also got to play along on a number of occasions, using some percussion instruments. They had a fantastic morning! Thanks to Nigel Ireland and the Ulster Orchestra for facilitating and to Cookstown High School for hosting! Also, a big well done to our pupils who were commended for their fantastic behaviour and attention skills. Well done everyone!
