Springtime
15th May 2023
On Tuesday LSC2 went for a spring walk to the school garden. It was a beautiful sunny day and we saw some signs of Spring: buds, flowers, long grass, bees and other insects. Oisin found a dandelion clock and blew the seeds. We chatted about how this was wind dispersal of seeds. We also talked about the importance of bees in pollinating flowers. We had good fun in the garden. After that, we went back to class and made a list of the different signs of Spring. We remembered what we had found in the garden and other signs of Spring we see on our journey to school as well as around our homes.
