Parenting Childrens Challenging Behaviour – 6 weeks via zoom
Commences Thursday 1st May, 7-8.30pm OR Tuesday 6th May, 7-9pm
This programme aims to help parents/guardians understand children’s behaviours, recognise the triggers to their child’s behaviour and gives practical tips on how to reinforce positive behaviour. It also promotes the authoritative parenting style which research shows to be the most effective. The programme is suited to parents of children aged 2 -10 years old.
Walking Group
Commences Thursday 1st May, x 8 weeks – setting off from Antrim Castle Gardens at 9.15am
Parents/guardians are welcome to come along and enjoy a relaxed walk in the local area. A great way to meet new friends!
The Power of the Parent Child Relationship – 1 hour zoom session
Tuesday 6th May, 7 - 8pm OR Monday 9th June, 10 – 11am
Parents will be introduced to top tips and strategies to develop and promote the relationship with their child.
Parenting in a Digital World – 1 hour zoom session
Monday 12th May, 7 – 8pm OR Thursday 5th June, 12noon – 1pm
Parents will explore what children and young people are doing online as well as exploring the risks they face. Parents will be equipped with the skills to have effective conversations with their children about keeping safe online.
