Take one empty cardboard box, a Year 2 class, plenty of creativity and imagination and what do you get? An amazing pirate ship!
Year 2 designed and made an amazing pirate ship during play-based learning. The children used their science, technology and thinking skills to carry out this task. They all worked really well in their teams to decide on the items they needed to create their ship. The children also enjoyed a plenary session to discuss the finished pirate ship.
