On Wednesday and Thursday we welcomed our prospective P1s along with their parents to our P1 open mornings. Everyone had the opportunity to visit our P1 classes and enjoy some structured play with our current P1 children. We did a whistle stop tour of the facilities within our school, stopping at the soft play area, the sensory pathway and the sensory room which was a big hit with our little visitors!
Everyone finished with a presentation by Mr Mitchell about what Cookstown Primary School has to offer. Each child left with a little Christmas treat too! There were plenty of smiling faces over the two days.
