LSC 2 were excited to be asked to carve 8 pumpkins for Cookstown Mid-Ulster District Councils Spooky Fun and Fireworks Celebration to held on Saturday 29th October at Mid Ulster Sports Arena from 6pm – 8.15pm.
They started by cleaning out the pumpkins. This was a messy but fun activity! Next, they made some plans on how they wanted the pumpkins to be carved. They had lots of different ideas. After that they started the hard work of carving the pumpkins. They had to be very careful as they were using knives and cutters. Finally, they put tea lights inside each one and displayed them in their dark chill out room. Don’t they look really impressive!
