Illustrator's Visit

Year 3 welcomed Clive MacFarland to our class on Tuesday 23^rd May.  Clive read his book “Standing on one leg is hard”, which is about a heron chick. Then he proceeded to demonstrate how to draw a heron chick. He really made it look easy and the children followed his instructions so carefully; their pictures were amazing! The children really enjoyed the learning experience and the morning was topped with the children all receiving a free copy of this beautiful book as a memento.
