A team Football Results
The A football team headed to the leisure centre on Friday 22nd October for the medium and large section of the local schools’ league.

Our team unfortunately made a poor start with a nervy performance, losing 2 – 0 against an excellent Moneymore side. The team played some terrific football during the next two games and we drew one-all with Killyman PS in a very close encounter. However, we then played some fabulous football against a superb side from Woods PS and we ran out deserved winners on a 3-2 scoreline. Indeed, Woods PS were the eventual winners of the tournament which shows how well the team played in that game. We then drew 0 – 0 with Orritor PS in our next game and it was now down to our final game against Phoenix PS. Despite taking an early lead and dominating the game, we somehow ended up losing 2-1 which left us being placed fifth overall, instead of being in the top two where our team should have been! However, the boys will learn much from their experience and with a bit more consistency in the next tournament, we should hopefully perform even better.
